According to researchers, we experience the following basic emotions: happy, sad, fear, anger, surprise, and disgust. Everyone experiences each emotion at different times and situations because thoughts and daily experiences cause feelings. People think and encounter various problems daily, which need reactions such as laughing, crying, fighting, and getting frightened. For example, consider two people going to visit a friend who has a dog pet. When they arrive, the dog comes running to them. One may get scared, especially if he or she doesn’t have a dog pet. These reactions lead to emotions. Motivation is an inner condition or state that triggers and gives direction to our thoughts, actions, and feelings. Our behaviors are motivated by Psychological needs and biological needs. Also, one behavior can be inspired by a sense of personal motivation, which results from motivation and what one gains from others. The primary driver of individuals is biologicals needs. According to the theory of incentives and rewards, individuals are motivated to achieve a particular goal in anticipation of a prize—for example, desire for sex for procreation and desire for food and water for survival.

Personality is the total collective way of thinking, acting, and feeling that makes each other different. Personality involves relative constant characteristics, which can be evidenced in a different situation. My personality profile is a turbulent defender with a sentinel role and ongoing improvement strategy. The Myers Brigs type inventory did a good job describing my personality as I got to know my traits are introverted, observant, turbulent, judging, and feeling characteristics. One of the personality theories depicted from the notes is the trait theory, which views how we think and behaves differently. For example, a child cries because his or her previous cry created attention, which led to addressing his or her problems by the mother or guardian.
