Egocentric thinking

From the analysis, egocentric thinking results from humans’ self-centered thinking that makes them not consider others’ rights and requirements. The thinking perspective often tends to look down on other people’s opinions and verdict about something, or in other terms, it degrades and limits other people’s views. Egocentric thinking is usually a disadvantage since it gives an individual unrealistic but rather a confident sense that the person has fundamentally figured out solutions. Such a review is biased since individuals naturally believe in their intuitive perceptions, which could be inaccurate, making irrational opinions and decisions. Egocentric thinking undermines the intellectual standards in thinking, therefore prompts the idea of making irrational decisions or coming up with solutions that only benefit the narcissistic individual. Leaving out the vast majority, and this has been rendered to be a limiting factor in decision making and also in creativity and innovation. Therefore, reviewing selfish thinking will help boost my creative and innovative thinking to develop better solutions.

Definition of the problem

The Plant Manager Burger checks on the information point he required and asked for in the previous sitting. It gives him a matter of satisfaction that he was right in assuming that sabotage was the cause and influence of the rapid rise in reject rates on the panels. He came up with different solutions, which he thought would help solve the reject problem and labor difficulties. Joyce Luane asks questions only to realize the term problem was being used differently and made sense only to the speakers involved; thus, this made them make irrational decisions since they jumped to conclusions without understanding the cause and trigger. According to my honest assessment, I think that Burger never assessed the situation in-depth to find out the real issue and the motivation that could bring about excessive rejects. According to the different reports made by the other managers, it is evident that many problems are facing the company that tends to affect the production rates. Solving a problem does not involve solving a single solution that will help in solving others. Still, it rather entails an in-depth analysis of the problem, discussion, and coming up with a consensus solution to the rising problem.
