Kant states that everyone must act in such a way that the view of yourself or that of another person is perceived as an end in itself and not just a means to a certain end (Pasco and Jordan,53).  The humanity formula focuses on the intrinsic value of moral being’s in justifying moral agents and always treating them not as a means but as an end. It states that a person is capable of self-governing in that the values they live by should be selected by themselves (Kant, 12). Additionally, it states that the self-governing capacity is also a right and should not be altered or interfered with by other humans.

The idea that a woman who is not married and decides to kill an unborn child can be exempted from receiving punishment. It states that the woman does this in a “state of nature”. For Kantian’s reasoning, it is a bit cruel and shocking (McNamara, 91). Abortion is morally problematic, and according to Kantian, sometimes it is required and sometimes permissible. They are often classified in terms of the fetus moral status or the woman’s right to control her body. I consider the fetus moral status, and I am therefore against Kant’s view.

Kant’s non-consequentialism

The non-consequentialism is drawn from being normative to the theory of an act’s wrongness or rightness and rules systems depending on something else besides the consequences’ badness or goodness (Andrew and Gustafson, 80). It is a moral theory that is normative. In Kant’s view, an action is validated ethically if its conduction is in accordance with sound moral reasoning and that the action’s consequences are not the cause of being ethically valid
